Cassie grew up on a farm in northern Illinois and attended Indiana University. She has experience as a former fitness studio owner (Pure Barre Broad Ripple) and has worked in both commercial and residential design. Cassie is a mother to three teenagers—Jack and twins Ellisyn and Gracyn—and a stepmother to three college students. Cassie and her husband, Jared, have two dogs, Bodie and Indy.

Cassie enjoys traveling, particularly to the mountains or the beach. She also loves quiet evenings on the porch with a glass of wine, listening to country music, and attending live concerts. Her interests include true crime, reading, and spending time with friends and family.

As a mental wellness speaker, Cassie focuses on helping young women understand their value and worth in a society often dominated by unrealistic social standards. Cassie engages with sororities, teen youth centers, and community events through her blog and in-person presentations to spread this message.

One of Cassie’s favorite quotes is, "People may forget what you said, or perhaps what you did, but they will never forget how you made them feel." She strives to embody this sentiment in all of her endeavors. Cassie believes in the importance of investing in oneself and surrounding oneself with strong, value-driven people. This philosophy aligns with her work at LINK x LOU, where Cassie takes pride in helping others remember their worth.

Why LINK x LOU? Cassie loves the symbolism. When someone looks down at their new piece of gorgeous jewelry it is a reminder that we invested in ourselves and the links are meant to be strong and withstand wear, like our hearts and souls as we journey through this life.

Fun Fact: Cassie was an NFL cheerleader for the Indianapolis Colts!
