Chrisi was born and raised on the beautiful island of Guam and moved to the States by herself for college. She graduated from San Diego State University with a BA in psychology and a minor in counseling and social change. Chrisi then graduated from the University of Denver with a MA in counseling psychology. She is now working full-time as a clinical mental health researcher.

Outside of work, cooking is a major passion of Chrisi’s. So much so, that one day, she hopes to be a chef. She also loves to ski and snowboard, consume baked goods (croissants forever), move her body (HIIT, spin, pilates, weight training), and explore the food scene in different cities. The food and the sights are her favorite things about DC. There is so much diversity and it shows in the cuisine. The embassies and museums are also free, and the monuments are spectacular around sunset.

Chrisi’s spirit animal is a dolphin! Being from an island, the dolphins have been her favorite animal since she was a kid. Chrisi adores being social and meeting new people, she’s playful and bubbly, and when she finds her (dolphin) pod, she loves them so big!
