Sara is currently located in Overland Park, KS. Sara is a photographer by trade, a farmer by nature, and a mom of four sweet people. Outside of LINK x LOU®, Sara’s passion is her family’s farm, Sweetwater Sugar Maple Farm. She grew up on an orange grove and has landed on a maple farm. At Sweetwater Farm, Sara enjoys working, beekeeping, and tapping trees for syrup. Her current project is making Sweetwater Farm sustainable through syrup, seeds, saplings, stays, and dry goods. In addition to her farm, Sara has worked as a professional photographer for Hallmark Cards and runs her own photography company, XOXO Hugs and Kisses, for more than 20 years.

The things Sara loves the most about Kansas City are the Midwest Pride, the kind people, and the homegrown hustle. Creating, designing, and spending time with family and friends are the things that make Sara’s heart smile. That’s one of the reasons why she joined the LINK x LOU® family. Sara’s spirit animal is a horse. She grew up on horseback, and it is now taking her a new direction as an empty nester, encouraging her to never stop learning and doing.
