PAYTON HOOPS

PAYTON HOOPS
Payton was born in Austin, Texas & moved to Tokyo, Japan for two years before moving to Boulder. She is one of four daughters & her sisters are her whole world! Payton attended Colorado College where she studied Sociology & minored in Human Rights & Public Policy. Over the last decade, Payton feels as though she has lived many lives! She worked as a youth outdoor adventure guide leading backcountry trips all over Colorado, she’s been a spin instructor & corporate master trainer for RushCycle, managed sponsorships & led business development for DiningOut Events & DiningOut Magazine, & then became the Director of Enrollment Management at the Watershed School in Boulder. While some have seen Payton’s path as unconventional, she has always chased passion, purpose, & people.

To Payton, life is all about challenge, meaning, & connection, & she seeks to find that everywhere she goes, with everything she does. Being outside is Payton’s favorite way to spend time. You will often find her on trails biking, hiking, & backcountry skiing. She’s taken up fly fishing in the past year & has fallen in love with time on the river. Payton loves a good workout class, drinking wine, playing board games, reading anything by Brene Brown, perfecting the art of an egg scramble, & snuggling with other people's dogs.

Boulder is a gem of a place filled with inspiring go-getters, Payton included. The access to the mountains, the many delicious restaurants, & knowing that there is always something going on, from festivals to concerts to farmers' markets, Boulder has it all. Payton shares that the community is unmatched; it's a place that values health, connection, & authenticity.

Why LINK x LOU®? To Payton, LINK x LOU® has this beautiful duality of ruggedness & delicacy. As an avid outdoor athlete, Payton loves the ability to wear jewelry that makes her feel beautiful & never gets in the way. She appreciates the experience that LINK x LOU® provides & the way it connects people to one another. She also LOVES that it's woman-owned & led by sisters!

Fun fact: Payton through-hiked the Colorado Trail, a 500-mile hike from Denver to Durango (it took her 30 days!). She has been SO lucky to travel the world & has spent time in over 40 countries.
